September 10, 2004Everything ran great for a first timer. The first run was an 11.83. Then we changed a few things and it ran 11.73. I won first round and then lost 2nd round when i broke out. I ran a 11.70 on a 11.73 dial in. The only thing that went wrong was the fuse for the water pump blew out twice. We gonna get it fixed up for tomorrow. The front brakes wont hold during my burnout, but i think they still need to seat in. I had awesome reaction times for my first time:
Gotta whoop some ace tomorrow.
O, i forgot my digital camera, but my mom got a pic of me launching with her camera, so ill get it up when i get a chance.
September 11, 2004Congrats!! Continued good luck to you!!
Those are some excellent reaction times!!!
September 11, 2004damn justin, that's AWSOME!!!!
September 11, 2004It couldnt have gone much better. I had awesome reactions times. I ended up losing 5th round when there were 9 cars left. There were 51 cars to begin with. I still cant do a burnout because the front brakes wont hold, but that can be fixed. That resulted in a litte traction problem and the main reason i lost. The fastest E.T. was 11.67@112 mph.
I loved racing my truck, but about the second pass in the chevelle, i saw what i had been missing. For those of you who have never been that fast, it basically feels like you are in a rocket for the first 300 feet. Then you shift and its pure joy from then on. I am really exicted about the future of this car and i think that my first race win is not too far off.
September 11, 2004What does the silverado run??
