I have a 1989 K2500 5.7L that is getting no spark and it absolutely baffles me. What am I missing? So far I have tested the plug wires... no spark however wires have continuity. Tested distributor cap (new) no spark (new rotor also), tested coil (new) no spark. Tested continuity on coil to distributor cap and that is good. Took out ICM and took it to autozone and it passed on their machine, conducted tests on pick up coil (according to manual) and pick up coil passed. Checked power going to coil and there is 12 volts going to coil. Also have power coming out of coil running to distributor. I have checked the fuse in the cab on the drivers side and they are good. Is there anything else that I am missing that someone might know of?
