October 9, 2011I have a 2004 Silerado 2500 HD 4x4 with a 6.0 gasoline engine. I hadn`t driven it for a couple days and when I took it for a ride it started stalling on me. I got it home but it wont stay running. Most of the time it wont even start but when it does it only runs for about 10 to 20 seconds. I changed the plugs, wires, fuel pump and crank position sensor but still does the same thing. Also the engine light is not on and no codes come up on the diagnostics tester. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

October 10, 2011How is your Battery doing?
October 11, 2011Does your truck have any sort of antitheft device or auto shutoff switch for accidents that may have gone bad?
October 12, 2011The MAF sensor will do that if it is dirty or bad. Get MAF cleaner and spray it pretty good. Remember not to touch the element when you do this.
October 12, 2011im leaning toward the anti theft. try to unplug your battery for about 15 min. then see what it does. there is a way to re set the anti theft but im not sure how its done. and clean your maf while your at it.

October 12, 2011I agree with^^^^^^^ also fuel filter, and try adding a fuel additive like STA-BIL I believe its called incase you may have some water in the tank/lines, or just straight up a bad tank....maybe run some premium thru her..

October 14, 2011I would look into the anti-theft as well. Is your security light flashing on the dash by any chance? Unhook the battery for 15-20 mins and see what happens. After that, check fuel pressure after the regulator. I cant remember if the injector circuit has a relay or fuse, but check that also.
