I have my first truck that I got when I was 16, its the family heirloom. I have always loved these body style trucks and I am looking to restore it. I really need to overhaul the interior bad and was looking to get new door panels but I m diappointed to see that replacements are not OEM style. Does someone have some pics of replacement panels from Late Model Restoration in their vehicle or have any leads on finding a replacement...Can I get my originals reupholstered? Gonna check the junk yards but not feeling good about it either ...thanksForums : Silverado (c/k) (1988 - 1998) : 1992 Silverado Restoration (1590 Views)

Did you check LMC? and i know what you mean. when i turned 16 i got a 94 extended cab long box 3/4. but being a teenager i abused it. ie, bent the frame, shoved crossmembers into the tranny, and driveline...shoved the tranny into the floor...but it still ran and drove great up until the clutch went out and we decided to sell it because the frame would snap out if we disconnected the crossmemebers for the tranny. still definitely my favorite body style though. but the 03-06 come in at a close second. they just don`t have the nostalgia the OBS do for me. lol.Horsepower is how fast you were going when you hit the wall, Torque is how far you went after you hit the wall.

I agree, LMC will have it. You could pretty much build a factory truck from there catalog. I think its LMCtruck.comNovember 12, 2011
