March 12, 2011Hey guys its been awhile. After the web site went down a few years ago I kinda got away from the site but I need your help. I own a 2007 chevy silverado regular cab NNBS. After that big rain we had the other day i got in my truck today and noticed my pasanger side carpet was soaked. Soaked to the point were if i press the carpet water seeps up. I called the dealer and they told me that my extended bumper to bumper warenty doesnt cover leaks..(glad i paid 2k for that) So I checked the third brake light hearing that might be the problem but i see no signs of water comming in there. I did have the defroster on for about 20minutes the other day trying to defog my window but this is alot of water not like the little bit that would have come from running the ac for a short period. Anyone else have this problem because it looks like Ill be fixing this myself since my dealership sucks. The only thing i changed was a few days ago i took my tonneau off and replaced with a toolbox but i cant see that being the problem. Sorry for the long post but i wanted to give as many details as possible. I want to try and fix it tommorow as its my only day off till next sat. Any help is appreciated. Thanks everyone.
