February 2, 2011These new motors dont need the warm up period like the older ones. My dads got the 6.0 with a lift and 34" tires and with a predator tune I made him he`s getting 17 mpg

February 2, 2011ya its the short trips that will kill you...my truck has seen 15 MPG but as little as 9. Also i have a DD car that normally will get 29-33mpg but in the winter with short trips i have seen as little as 22 so keep that in mind
February 2, 2011THAT MIGHT BE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS I WOULD PUT A TUNER ON IT BUT IM AFRAID
TO SPEND ALL THAT MONEY AND MAYBE MAKE IT WORSE THAN WHAT IT IS. WHAT IS
THE BEST ONE TO GET?
February 2, 2011Check out Diablosport. They have the Predator and I think they came out with a new one called Trinity. You`ll get the most bang for your buck
February 3, 2011My gas mileage is 15-16 mpg. Truck almost has 10,000 miles on it. We did a trip from home to Baltimore last september, 21 mpg.
I work 15-20 minutes from home. That is what I have to drive to run errands, and I get 15-16 mpg.
Everything is stock.
February 3, 2011My 2007 gets 14-15 mpg in town, and that`s with me keeping an eye on the instant fuel economy. Stock,no tuner, I have gotten as much as 19.6 mpg on a trip and my truck is 4 WD with 3.73 gearing. Short trips will kill ya on mileage! I`m still thinking of getting a custom tune from wheatly to help with mileage and towing. From what I`ve heard, you have convenience with a hand held but get more performence with a custom tune.
