January 18, 201198 GMC 1 ton van chassis/school bus.
162k miles. it had an electrical problem that i was able to solve by cleaning the terminal block and wires on the rad support, so now it cranks over.
but it will not start.
i cracked the fuel supply line loose at the driver side rear head, and have fuel flow with key on, but absolutely no smoke or smell of fuel out of the exhaust.
i am a ford mechanic and helping a friend with this bus.
i am thinking it is a bad injector pump, or a bad fuel shut off switch in the pump.
it looks like the injector pump is under the intake on top of the rear of the engine.
does this sound correct??
