December 27, 2010I have found a 2000 Cadillac Escalade Cluster at my local salvage yard for $75! Now my problem...The companies I call about getting the milage programmed all say that they can program the milage but the cluster will also need to be programmed by the dealership. Is this true? Can I not just get the milage programmed and then just plug it in? Any help is appreciated...Thanks.

December 27, 2010Why are you changing the cluster? You can also have your old cluster repaired for about the same price or less. There a people on Ebay that do that. Depending on what is wrong with the old one, which is usually the stepper motors, this can be done rather cheaply.
December 27, 2010I want the tranny temp guage plus I like the way the escalade clusters look better!
March 9, 2011One of my favorite mods I did to my 03. The swap takes less than 10 minutes and NO dealership touches them. They send them out to a certified cluster repair place. Make sure the cluster came from the same Gen of truck.. which it looks like you did.
The one I used was called Techni-car. They`re found in Tampa Florida and Cleveland Ohio. You can google them for the phone number. They are a certified cluster repair place for just about all makes. When I had mine done, it cost me under $25, but they were local to me at the time in Pittsburgh. That place closed.
March 9, 2011very nice! looks sharp.

June 4, 2011I like the look of that alot. Now do you have to do anything special to hook up the transmission temprature gauge or anything like that? My truck is a 2000 Silverado with the LS trim package, without the transmission temp on it.
June 4, 2011My moms denali cluster is going out, the dealer told me they have to scan it to assure the mileage and all comes out on it...now that I am hearing of these repair places I want to look more into them I may be able to save some money...any info on Northern IL or Southern WI ones?
