September 3, 2010I had the same code come up a couple of times. I just bought some Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner. Sprayed the 3 little wire sensors. Let it dry for a couple of min reinstalled the MAF and I haven`t had the code since.
September 4, 2010Thanks so far so good the code has stayed off i cleaned the MAF sensor along witht the throttle body and no codes yet. If it keeps happening maybe ill buy a new sensor. Does anyone run an aftermarket MAF sensor i have an intake and exhaust i didnt know if they did much or was worth the 300 dollars
September 24, 2010i have heard the aftermarket ones actually hurt your performance because they only tell the truck to change the air/fuel mixture, and not change anything else, making it run lean or rich.
September 24, 2010I am having the same issue with my wife`s 01 Blazer, more so when it rains. Think I will give the cleaner a shot. If not, gotta bite the bullet and get a new M.A.F. sensor. It seems like its a wet or cracked dist. cap, but after checking it for dampness and cracks I found nothing but getting the same intermitent code.

January 23, 2012I am digging in the archives here. I have the P0101 code coming up on my truck. It happens under heavy load pulling my camper or heavy acceleration. I clear it off and it continues to come back every now and then. I do have a K&N air filter but it has been on there for nearly 80,000 miles and has only been cleaned once over 40,000 miles ago. I don`t think it is the oil for the air filter since this just started last month. I don`t know if it affects my mileage or power. I don`t know if I need to buy another MAF sensor or just keep turning it off.
If it ain`t broke don`t fix it.
August 3, 2012I Was driving the other day and everything started to go crazy! first thing i noticed was the Tach going crazy over 3krpm then the check engine light came on. On closer inspection it threw all those codes. (plus a torque converter clutch code which disappeared. Anyone had a similar issue? I`m guessing that everything didn`t decide to go at once... and that I have a gremlin somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
