March 24, 2010It really sounds amazing in negative sense.
March 24, 2010Good to hear everything is working out even though it was frustrating at the time it was all happening.... hope the bumper and body issues get covered just as well!!
Maybe the tow truck driver would be better placed somewhere in which he needs to ask.... "Would you like fries with that?" What a Moaron!
One of my budies and his uncle (whom I`m on the FD with) drive wrecker for a company in town. After my acccident last winter, my budy was on call and hauled my truck with the companies flat bed.... had to winch it on, since the drive shaft pulled out of the yoke. Either way I was suprised "sledge" had to drive his burb on the bed himself?!?!

April 10, 2010I cant believe this thread is still active. I just stopped by and was surprised to see my old thread at the top of the list. Might as well post an update while im here i suppose.
The shop owner finally took care of the noise the exhaust was making since he worked on it. The night he brought it back, i noticed a very slight noise when i pressed the gas. The shop owner said when i bring it down that weekend to change the fluids, he would check it out. Well when i got there that saturday morning, he is nowhere to be found. One of his employees says he cant find the owner and he wont answer his phone. He changes the fluids for free since he overheard the owner say something about it and tries to call him about six times while im there. After i didn`t hear anything from him for couple weeks, i text him to see whats going on. He calls me right back saying how busy he is, all this stuff is going wrong, etc. He says he will call me in a couple days and we`ll get everything taken care of. A few weeks later when he still has have yet to call me, i try to contact him again. Again, he says how busy he is and says he`ll call me in another couple days. As you may be seeing a trend develop here, we go through this act a third time. Finally a couple months later, he fixed what turned into a rather noisy exhaust leak. He told me that the body shop he was going to use was really backed up and i would have to bring the truck back in a couple weeks and have that scratch repaired then. Its now been a few months and i still have not heard from him.
January 25, 2011Ii also have an 02 and have the same noises with the backlash thing. Already blew out my tranny at 123K I have 150k now and still have that noise so it isn`t a direct tranny noise. I can understand the backlash noise from the diff. Also depending on how your drive etc... I would recomend a tranny from the junk yard. Here in az there like 300-500 with warrenty.. I didn`t do my research and paid 2,400 at a shop. It is already going out again
January 26, 2011It is hard to trust anybody anymore. I hope it works out for you.
