May 30, 2007as some of you know, I have a 92 chevy silverado with 062 heads, long tube headers, new cam and etc... the truck runs really strong but the idle goes up from 500-1000 rpms and then back down, back and fourth.
I have done everything by the book, i burned a custom chip, i am running 20 psi on the pressure regulator but i am still running lean, my spark plugs are completely white, i am running stock ac delco spark plugs, gapped at 0.35 also, my timing is advanced 10 degrees, i am running 92 octane. I am running the stock 55 lbs injectors
i am probably missing something. as my truck sits right now, i know i need more fuel. how do i bump up to 23-25 psi? would that make my engine idle surge up and down? I am completely lost and don't know what to look for. any help would be appreciated.
i did change my lifters, push rods and rockers. I also did 3 wire oxygen sensor. as of now i don't have my check engine light on, how do i try to trace the problem?
the truck runs pretty good and has plenty of power, i just don't know why its running lean while my fuel pressure is up on 20 psi.
