I just put 3.73 gears in my 95 and Ive heard that to fix the speedometer you have to change the speedometer gear inside the transmission. Anybody know anything about this or know how to do it or know where I can find more out about it.Forums : Gears : Anybody fixed their speedo on a 95 (42 Views)

Get a product made by Jet called the the SCU-2000. It allows you to recalibrate your speedometer to adjust for different types of gear ratios and tire sizes. It also takes off the top speed limiter so it is a pretty neat product. Check it out and let me know what you think about it.January 20, 2007
my 95 used a magnetic ring, is'nt a gear, you can do a mod on the DRAC box if you can solderJanuary 23, 2007
If your comfortable doing some minor soldering then do the drac mod. It's simply adding 2 6 or 7 position dip switches to the circuit board and then flipping the switches to the right spot. This link provides all the information needed to do the job including the math and chart telling you how your switches should be set. http://www.tbichips.com/drac/I did the mod on my rig so now I can set my speedo to any size tire within minutes.
