April 5, 2005Well I went to the gym this morning and after doing pushups and situps, decided to go into the cardio room as I should. Well when entering I met the Devil. I was seduced by its looks. I made a big mistake. Yeah like five minutes later, I couldn't move. I felt things hurt that haven't hurt in years. I couldn't get on the treadmill after that. I did however go hit the weight room after to make up for the fact that I just put myself through sheer hell. Now I am awake again and sore. I have to go to the gym tonight to stay on schedule but know that it will hurt and dred it. Aint that the way it goes.

I also hit the nautilus yesterday so was sore all over on the upper half as well. I don't mind the top half so much. We did a bunch of situps as well. Lower stomach is sore but I have had worse. Like it was said before, it is a good kind of sore.
April 6, 2005The key to keeping the soreness and stiffness away is to stretch after you work out. Be sure that during your work out you don't sit down either (other than doing your workout). When you sit down between sets it gives your muscles time to build up latic acids thus causing you to be a little more stiff and sore. Just my
