January 21, 2011Same thing. No difference.
Kinda like the difference between a gmc steering wheel and a chev steering wheel.
Cause the voices tell me to
January 21, 2011so as long as im using just the chunk and the gears its the same i know i cant use the axles . i just need to know if i could use the chunk from 2wd because i cant find any 4wd 3.42 pleny of 2wd .
January 21, 2011old 10bolt (half ton chevy truck axles) 2wd trucks had a different lug pattern. Carriers and ring gears were the same but diffferent axles, brakes wheels, etc.
January 21, 201199 and up, all half ton trucks and suv either 2wd or 4wd all have to same lug pattern...

January 21, 2011and how do you read the codes in the glove box for the tran code rear code aand all , or do you have u seen all the specs on the codes
January 21, 20112wd doesn`t have too mean it has limited slip
G80 is factory locker, good for everyday stuff but sometimes you`re better off with just an open rearend rather than that junk thing.
