February 27, 2008what would be my best bet to get the most torque and power out of a 350 chevy motor a blower or supercharger?
February 27, 2008Lol posting alot tonight huh drew.
February 27, 2008I thought blowers and superchargers were the same thing...and turbo was the other thing.
February 27, 2008blower and supercharger should be the same.
February 27, 2008usually you will get more power from a turbocharger, but a supercharger won't have any "lag". blowers just run the heat
February 27, 2008blower/supercharger are the same thing
February 27, 2008okay yeah thanks sorry guys didnt no much bout them im more into lift kits n makin my truck higher and better for offroadin but a bubby wants to build a motor together so i figured id ask some questions i guess i got the answer. thanks. how much power gain would that give me?
February 27, 2008funny tomolu
i dont know much about turbochargers. most places will tell you approximate power gains. try
usually 40-50% increase and a bit more if intercooled.
February 28, 2008Hope you have couple grand to spend on that. Superchargers arent cheap.
February 29, 2008turbos aint cheap either.
But with the right setup you could easily gain a hundred horsepower and if you choose to use an electronic system you can finetune that so it works in the RPM range that you want it. Say for the street it would beable to work around 2 and 4 thousand RPMs and just by moving the vgt solenoid you could get another setting for up around 4 to 7 thousand rpms.
February 29, 2008blower, i don't know 'her. ba-doom-crash. i'll be here all night folks, try the chicken, best in the city.
