November 17, 2005Does anyone have the Bose speaker system in their truck and if so, how do you like them? Should anything be added or are the good for mostly country music and Lynyrd Skynyrd?

November 17, 2005Last time I checked you couldn't buy a Bose system and install it. It had to come with the truck. If their auto system is anything like the home stuff, no you don't need to add anything to it.
I have the Bose 901 Series V speakers at home. They handle unlimited house watts, and crank. My kids tell me to turn it down. s
November 17, 2005The Bose speakers are already in the Sierra I am getting today. Just wondering how they handled sound and all. I listened to them during the test drive, but the dealer was with me and I couldn't crank them like I wanted. Sounded good, just wish I could hear what ol' Hank sounded like on them. lol
November 17, 2005I have the factory Bose system in my truck. I think it’s a very good system and I like it. It would be nice to have a different head unit with more tuning options though. The only problem is I would have to invest about another $150 dollars on top of the head unit costs so I could keep the OnStar and steering wheel functions. There is a sub located in the front console that puts out some nice base. Two small speakers in the front pillars, and 4 speakers in the doors. I have to say Dr. Bose has engineered a good sound system. Maybe not the best, but a good system.
November 17, 2005Thanks! Just curious as to if everyone liked it. It should be a good system from what I have been told. Thanks all!
November 17, 2005Congrats on your new truck your are getting today.
November 17, 2005Thanks! I can't wait! I'll be staying home and not traveling as much with the payments I will have, but it has been a long time coming! Where did you get your Vortec stickers? I was wanting to get some for the side ext. cab windows in silver.
